I am a certified Black Belt Nia instructor and RYT 200 yoga instructor. I teach classes at fitness centers, community centers, local jail, and my home studio. I love how these sacred movement practices are so adaptable to each space and allow diverse participants to tap into their own pleasure and joy. I am energized by the music, choreography, and supportive Nia community. I am grounded by the alignment principles and ancient philosophy of yoga. Through the union of Nia and yoga, I have gained a relationship with my body and appreciation for its beauty, power and grace.
When I am not teaching Nia and yoga, you can find me hiking, camping and traveling with all of my boys (husband, 2 sons and goofy dog) or volunteering around Richmond. My motto is have fun, be kind.
